The Man Who

The Man who
loved too many but
loved no one at all,
left the window open
for roses and
dry grass surrounding
the ornamental sacrifice
of blades of life,
the man who
loved too many
suggestions of
betrayal over
diamonds typed to
a rope of candles
hanging over the
memories of loved,
love and then there
was death, his
room-mate
soul- mate
fate of the affectionate
submissions of women
wanting to mend and love,
but sitting he loved so many
but loved no one at all.
