The Waves of Womanhood

The Waves of Womanhood

I took this photo roughly three summers ago when I just began exploring life through the camera lens. This image call tell many different stories; but for me, this photograph tells the story of a girl who has come to terms with living life on her own. At the same time, she has found peace within herself and can enjoy the beauty of the seas as well as the world around her. This photograph visually embodies the self discoveries that I made as a teenager and helped me blossom into the young woman that I am today. I feel that the girl in this photograph is making that same transition, just as I was when I took this. Finding inner harmony and true happiness is a major aspect of our human experience.
